The Great Galt is a Fantasy of Greed and Selfishness If you have read Arrow, I would like to know what. Instead of bragging of your vast knowledge, let's see some references and footnotes, particularly to your scientific and philosophical works. The Web is free range for sick and twisted minds who disdain academic study and scientific publication and thrive on bullying people. What cultures have you studied? Where are your publications? What did the critics say of them. How did you answer them. Simply traveling with blinders on does not make you a philosopher. Instead of cowering under the butt of some delusion of a poor mad woman's fevered brain, step out into the world of free discussion. State your sources. Explicate your models. Site your evidence. Show the predictive power of your theories. Simply checking out a few hard books and putting them on the tub next to the john won't do the job. Do you have an education in philosophy or economics or political theory, or are you merely one of those mindless wretches that cover themselves with other people's intellectual excreta and pretend (successfully) to be a pile.. What is this ridiculous masquerade that you are buddies with Galt? What are you ashamed of? Speak out for yourself, if you have the courage. What are you trying to prove. Who cares how you criticize others. You have no reason so all you can do is abuse others. It is not too late for you to make a serious contribution to the discussion of man's fate and mankind's future. If you hate Marx or Keynes or any others you obviously have not read, then show where there directly opposing theories are wrong. Marx, as you may have heard, thought capitalism would take over the world, and then collapse being replaced by socialism. Keynes was the real savior of capitalism, who saw that by rational collective action, capitalism could be shored up and survive the threat of revolution. Left to the likes of you hyper-individualist dreamers, the remnant of capitalism would have collapsed in ruins in the 30's. Stalin might have crushed the Nazis and then turned, as he did, on all of Europe, China, and the East. A new dark age could easily have descended, but rational thinkers in many countries knew that wise men had to abandon the fantasy of a self-correcting capitalist society. Just as Alan Greenspan (a former worshipper of Gold and Rand), and acting Keynesian, bailed out society in October (and soon may have to do it again), the fools who worship automaticity would have let everything crash and be damned. Get with the program. Learn how the real world works. Abandon those fantastic illusions. Realize that people are a social species, and that neither leaning too far in a collective or in an individualistic direction can work for long.
