I would not want to go much below .025 in a heap leacher.. better .045.. or 1.5 grams.. that is my psychological barrier.. but full milling can be done on .055 ounce ore..

And mines have run at .019 ounce (.652 grams) heap leaching (Lewis/Crofoot or Hycroft in Nevada 47 million tons).. They have also failed at 1/10 of an ounce..! At around ten million tons the same company has feasibility to start on 1.74 grams or .05 ounces at 3300 tons per day in Bolivia. (Vista)
