Jeff, I just went over to the appleinsider site and checked out the page. Firewire sounds like an awesome development for the PC marketplace. I hope that it becomes more commonplace in the overall PC boxes as well as in Apple computers. USB will be the next big thing, but Firewire sounds like it will certainly have a lot of support in the future. The Orb looks like a winner if they can get it to market and don't have reliability problems with their design. This will give the Jaz a run for the money that's for sure. I don't know how they can make money on this thing at only 200 bucks a pop? And the carts are only 30 bucks each for 2.2 gigs! Amazing.

BTW at the bottom of the page I noticed an Apple G3 ad where it is shows the the Iomega Zip drive is standard on the G3! Now that's what I like to hear... Iomega Zip drive INCLUDED!! Its going to be a real exciting year in the removable storage market. Iomega has the market to itself now, but there will be more competition as time goes on. Good Luck. Very Long on IOM... Mel
