Availability of new machines

I'm interested to see how good the availability of these new machines are. Anyone have any experiences to relate, Soup especially?

MacMall, which lists inventory #'s on its website, seems to have gotten a fair number of the Yosemite's in. They have about 60 300's, 950 350's, and 500 400's. However, I have not found a single site that claims to have the new iMacs in stock.

Are they really popular or has Apple been delinquent in delivering these babies?

I've also noticed that about the only old G3 configuration still being sold on these sites is the 266 w/Microsoft Office. MacMall still claims to have more than 5,000 of these units on hand. I'm not surprised, though, as the iMac seemed to have really eaten into sales of the 266 model.

David, MAXPAIN is $30... at least from this site-

pipeline.com

Data claimed to be based on 1/8/99 data. I haven't run the numbers myself, but cant imagine maxpain running from $30 to $45 so quickly based on the "inertia" of months of accumulations in options positions. How did you get $45?
