Adds up, Blue - Mick didn't play yet just Poppin' By & In Town...
Song for the Opening Bell Monday is The Big Secret Around Here..
Backstage jam on the Elvis Birthday Weekend is fun & in a retro mood..."MULTIPLICATION" ("That's the name of the game, and each generation, they play the same") was just covered by GNET, who
played it casual wonder-bread style just like you'd hope for on
any Bobby Darin number. What a great band, they can get so many
styles from the same players and equipment. Previously the Opener
Today Was (YES!) the real live Original JAMES BROWN and His Backup of pokerface flackeys in stance (got dakine pimp getups like yours on the ACNJ Boardwalk that time you were avoiding the mob), so In
Step they each were gripping a strained steel chain to a snarling spike-collared Rottweiler as if it meant life or death (Yes, IMHO).
The Great James Brown covered "DEAR LADY TWIST" ("Get up off
yer ass...Lady...Get up, off your ass...Dear Dear Lady...Do the
Twist for I've Been Told Do The Twist And You'll Never Grow Old")
originally performed by Gary U.S. Bonds. Just picture the audience!!
The only way to describe it is, well, good thing there were no seats or tables around! James Brown knows how to call yer bad self up to come out and play!
909 pals, lemmetellya,
James Brown Let GNET Band BACK HIM UP!!! What does that say about
the talent, versatility, and technostuff of this Band? Anyway,
just like old times, James was helped into a terrycloth robe,
calmed down, and ministered to by his flackeys, before being
escorted offstage by his phalanx, sweating and exhausted as he
waved to the audience and promised to be back soon. Far Out!
So far, Blue, all the performances have been "covers" - what
do you think that could mean as a market message/prediction?
(Except for STEAMROLLER and that was A Mystery...)
I'm stumped; maybe time to check in there again for a note,
