I only have one line and it rings as if I had two lines.I can be on the computer and take calls no problem or receive a fax while on-line.

Francois,
The only time there was any problem was yesterday and when I called Mpower they explained the system was under attack by a hacker in Nassau or two.The safegaurds held up and they are rectifying the problem in their own way.Other than that it is great.

How does the ADSL line handle incoming phones call,......

An ADSL connection will transmit at a higher frequency without interfering with regular phone communication which are lower frequency. In effect, one phone line will multi-task using different frequencies for different tasks.

Unfortunately for me, I can't get any kind of high speed connection in my area. I live in Toronto, and these connections are available only in selected areas.......ridiculous.

Regards, Wisam

For background information and lots of technical debate about ADSL, the AMATI thread is a stimulating read. These folks were into it from the very beginning.
