Agree that sooner or later internet stocks correct, but I believe the net will be a pervasive part of our lives and that the leading companies will continue to reward investors over time. This leads to my question:

how should an individual handle the volatility of those web stocks that he believes will appreciate severalfold over the next few years, ie sell or write covered calls or buy puts when they get overextended? buy on dips? or just sit tight? many of the web stocks have had 50% corrections last year only to appreciate 400% from their lows.

Comments welcome,

Gary

Sipowitz feels very good about his investment in DBCC and also his investment in BII (Bid.com).

He feels that DBCC will hit $35 by Wednesday and also feel that many people are holding this stock and refuse to sell thus lowering the float.

Sipowitz ranks the following a STRONG buy for Monday:

DBCC
PROG
NAVR
AHWYW
TUNE
RRRR
SYBR
NBTY
GWRX
CIEN
ONPT
IUSAA
JBOH

He believes that many will be happy by Friday if they follow his advice...

He also says to Short VRIO, DRIV, and SPLN

From what I have heard in the year 2003 USA Internet E- Commerce sales should reach $1 Trillion Dollars. Four (4) years ago it was next to nothing, and in 1998 US$13 billion. I read in 4 years time over 1/2 of this $1 Trillion Dollars will be spent on "Business to Business". I understand Canada's BID.COM has spent a lot of money in this area. Is there information on how "Business to Business works". BID.COM is also working on doing E- Commerce Business in Europe, hopefully those "EURO" Dollars should be a good boost for BID.COM, in 1999.?? Thanks.!!

SBAS at $0.75, was $12 in May 1996, that's why I ask. Again, thank you for your graciousness. I contribute to the American Cancer Society regularly. Could you please recommend a charity more closely directed at children with cancer? Good luck and god bless.

Dear Mr. Pink:

Please take a look at the "new" thread I started for
Rare Medium Corp (Nasdaq: RRRR). The prior thread didn't accurately reflect RRRR's current direction.

This is the thread subject address

Subject 24792

I have provided my dd that I did this morning. Set some emails to IR asking for a better break down of shares(authorized / outstanding / float/ and institutional ownership). I have some conflicting info on the share counts. One account I read had nearly 18% owned by institutions.

Stock is currently trading at 4.5.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Sincerely,

ztect
