Snerd,

I have read a few notes about complaints about cheap online brokers. I trade furiously in spurts in the hot money stocks you
people are dealing with..

I do not use a online broker since being aware of the ocassional
problems that can lock up or stall a trade for long enough to lose a
point or two which can quickly eat up those "cheap comissions" that
are advertized..

I pick up the phone to a mid-sized regional broker in a small
city away from my area.. I get through immediately.. get instant
executions.. and pay about 125.00/ for say a 1000-2000 shares of
GEND, one way.. OKAY, 125.00 is 1/8 point on 1000 shares.. If I
was stalled for for even 1/2 point, there goes $500.00.. When I
want out, I want out.. Time COSTS money in this business.. and those
19.95 comissions don't look so cheap when GEND is down ticking and
a person is on hold..

An added bonus once in awhile is getting hot IPOs which is found money.. In smaller rural cities, there are not too many traders
and IPO specialists. so I get first chance most of the time.

Just a thought, get a good relationship with a broker AND ask for
and you will receive their best rate..

Just some thoughts and good luck.... the Coug
