I for one secretly hope that there will in fact be a delay in getting the Madera web site up on Monday. The reason: I don't feel I've accumulated enough shares yet, so if there's some good panic happening on Monday and the price goes down a bit (or a lot), I'll load up with many more shares. It's already a bargain at its current price, but if it goes lower--yeeehaaaah! Here's the point: WOOD is for real. BUT DON'T OVERLOOK THE FACT that in their PR on 1/5/99 they used the following phrase: "Company consultants ESTIMATE now that the site SHOULD be up and running no later than Monday, January 11, 1999." (I added the caps for emphasis.) While the CEO's quote in the next paragraph is more definitive in saying 1/11 is the day, the opening line gives them something of an out. I can wait if need be (and buy more stock on dips) for the inevitable explosion of WOOD. It's definitely a question of "when" and not "if" with this unique company. Jeff HQ
