I'm happy with my G3, and there is another reason to get a Mac: Sonic Solutions (snic) makes it possible to author DVDs on the new Macs coming oput in spring (they develop the software)...btw, there is a cross platform update by Adobe, if you got the Windows software, you don't have to start from scratch and pay the full prize..

If you check the numbers carefully, you will see that that a 300Mhz Mac G3 with 1meg of backside cache is almost 1.5x faster than a PC with 400Mhz MMX Pentium II. Depending on the color you choose...like tangerine, it could be even faster!

When you change over to a G3, it will run all your PC stuff in emulation mode as fast or faster than your PC.

BTW, from a PnF point of view, IOM picture looks superb with its second double top breakout in two days and a very positive change in momentum. And for the first time in a looong time the fundamentals seem to be improving.
