ATHM/TCI fills a void and will do a great job (pending quick Malone cleaning/reorg), but something else will come along -- and quickly! To quote Ahhaha: "Nothing beats the physics of the waveguide." The only better method than coaxial cable access is fiberoptic cable access. ATHM will be there too. ATHM is not based on a short term temporary technology there is essentially nothing better ever to be found. The technology driving ATHM is more lasting than the technology driving MSFT. Let's enjoy the ride on ATHM but let's not get blind sighted by sheer fantasy So true. ATHM will have massive ups & downs, hopes realized and dreams crushed. Major stiff competiton with big resources. ATHM will at times make amazingly stupid choices that turn out to be a major waste. That is what being a growing company is all about. When AMZN falls ATHM will fall with it and very hard until people realize that AMZN is not the net, but simply one retailer doing business over the net who is struggling because every other retailer is doing business over the net too. The net will grow to meet our wildist imagination. Its going to be a long & bumpy ride. Eric
