Charles <25% of all Americans died in the last civil war which is more Americans than all other US wars combined.> I don't know you got your figures from but they're not even close. The population of the US in 1860 was 31,443,321 and there was a total of 373,458 Union and Confederate soldiers killed. I'm sure there were civilians killed too that are not included in this figure but the total would still be less that 2% of the population. Just trying to set the record straight. Char
