JohnD, Thanks for the comliments but I have blown a few predictions as well. --- I expected at least 153 by yesterday --did not happen.
That ATT/MSN story along with the consumer group wanting 10billion did not help.

At least the AT&T/MSN is being denied by Microsoft.

I am just ignoring the consumers group story.
I have not done any complex options strategies before --I just stick to calls if I like the stock and puts (rarely did this) if i don't.

Still looking for big gains this coming week.

What if Microsoft will never dip to $120 - $130 level ? Then will you still have the guts to jump into the Microsoft boat at any price ?? If you are a serious long term investor in Microsoft , why do you care so much about the daily fluctuation of the stock price ? If you hold your Microsoft leaps of year 2001 $150, and you bought it sometimes in sep of 1998, your profit margin can be as high as 3600% in two and a half years. To make that kind of profit, you got to have patience and forget the cents but just think about the dollars.

expect that you will only see "120 - 130" some months after a split...barring major market downturn why not roll the dice for earnings release

"When that happens I expect this thread to be quieter than right now. Maybe Toysoldier will be back. ..."

Maybe you've discovered a buy-point indicator. Happy investing, PW.

P.S. Congratulations on your 250% gain in 1998. Grinning must be an occupational hazard.
