Paul,

No, not even one.

By the way, my impression of the LA times is that they have consistently trumpeted the AMD/Cyrix competition as effectively stopping the behemoth in it's tracks.

This story, which appears to have originated with Bloomberg, is the first real positive turn I've seen them give Intel in a long time.

Perhaps one of their own reporters might start to get it too. Who knows? Almost anything can happen, as we've discovered over the last year or so.

Barry

"I didn't see one mention of the fabulously profitable AMD and NSM/Cyrix stealing market share from Intel in the sub $1000 PC arena!"

How things can change, we sure have heard that cry a ton since the may 97 up to now time frame. You once said Intel is a hard stock to hold or own, that is the truth. So many naysayers along the way. I can hardly believe its out of the 80's and above 100.

Paul I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge so many qtrs as you have, appreciate it.
