Re: "You also realize that MOST People have Intel Inside their computers.

Therefore, there IS NO NEED TO OPEN up their computers.

Just like MOST PEOPLE don't OPEN UP their ROLEX watches."

Paul, you're posting even more nonsense than usual.

1) Most people don't own Rolexes. Maybe you remember the time when the Swiss dominated the watchmaking industry, and then got their asses kicked by the Japanese quartz watch.

2) Most people don't open up their Casios either. If they decide the one they own is out of fashion (analagous to technologically outdated) they throw it away and buy a new one, because they're cheap. You don't do that with a Rolex.

We could continue this metaphor, but it's a bad one for you. I'd drop it if I were on your side of the argument.

Kevin

PS Anand's benchmarks are wrong and ought to be corrected. The kid holds himself out as an authority, and as such ought to be interested in remedying his own mistakes. Moreover, my email to him was made at the suggestion of your friend Tenchusatsu, who, incidentally, works for Intel, and who I have some respect for.
