Note: This is only if you use Internet Explorer: From a browser window go to View/Internet Options, click the General tab and you will see the section of the screen for Temporary Internet Files. You can adjust it from there. Actually, though, 15 seconds sounds like you have something else wrong (more serious--not trying to scare you <g>).

Rich,

I read Wily's post.

Some more files you can delete are your "history" files, your "cookies" file, and your "Temp" files, as well as your "temporary internet" files.

Double Click on "My Computer".

Double click on (c)drive. (on mine, whatever drive the internet is on your's)

Double click on your "Windows" file.

You will see all of the files I listed.

Simply double click on them, to view the folder. Then either highlight the file you want to "delete" and click on "file", and then "delete".
If you want to empty the whole folder, click on "edit", then "select all", then on "file", then "delete".

Depending on how much you surf the net, this may free up a lot of hard drive space.

Have fun,
Phil

Dunno if this will help...

I set up a drive D: in RAM and store my .TMP files there. They disappear every time I shut my machine off. When in use, they access quite fast. Hope this helps, PW.
