I love Metastock! Too much information if you ask me. I have so many possibilities that it will take me a few more months just to get everything tweeked the way I want. I am building scans, new types of charts etc everyday. As for real time VIX, you should be able to get it through a real time quote feed vendor such as DBC. I have the Metastock end of day since I work full time and am lucky if I can get a trade in at all much less day trades. I only day trade during days off. However, even my end of day has a VIX, TRIN etc indicator that you could use with end of day data (not sure it would be of much use due to manipulation etc) Sorry about my site but I post my trades in advance, put down strategies (occasionally) and post outlooks and forecasts and mostly use it for communicating with frends I have come to know over the years, know well and trust so it is not public. I met a group of investors last year that find great stocks to trade fundamentally but their timing on when to get in and out was horrible so I created the site to give my views and teach them about TA. I also get charged for downloads over a certain size and since I have many charts there, it would not take long for me to rack up a huge expense if many on SI suddenly went there and started downloading charts. There are many lurkers here that never post, or not actual members. ( I used to be one myself reading these posts every night for years before I actually joined) Not trying to come off like a jerk but I don't know everyone here that well. Lee
