God, your a long winded
Yeah, that was a tad over our heads wasnt it? I'd rather see ATHM ROCKS BABY! wouldnt you?
Seriously Frank you have so much to say but I think you may not realize how many of us arent exactly sure what the difference between "pure optical" and SONET is and what the effect of ATM has on it all. Talk down to us a little won't you? You cant really educate unless you communicate.

Where? I compared ATHM to all ISPs, not just dialups.

I noticed elsewhere that you are in this field. You think that a (802.3) collision domain LAN is the ideal always on, always there, fast solution. Maybe so, once it's partitioned. But it ain't there yet. That's why there are studies going on in the industry right now to rectify this situation. But it will be. Speak the facts.

You also noted elsewhere that I cut and paste? I don't cut and paste anything unless I assign due attributions.

Be a man? I use my real name on every post, and I stand behind whatever I say. When I am mistaken about something I'm either first to point it out, or admit it readily when it's pointed out to me. Watch me in action, I'm about to eat crow on some downstream posts.

And I never, ever short. I'm a technology consultant and an investor in companies I believe in. That's why I'm trying to sort this one out. And nothing against traders of any persuasion, but I'm not a trader. Have your facts lined up next time.
