>>The ABIT BH6 options are fewer everyday

I'm not sure what you mean by that--I'm running out of time if I want one? Called CompuCheap today: 7-day backup. "Celeron combinations not available until further notice--check website for update".

I want to add my "Hear Hear" for Zeuspauls' contribution on this thread. Definitely good reading except when they get into the NT mumbo-jumbo, but I can always click out of that kind of muck.

Looks like that was a response to mine (#4806) to Dave. Thank you. The TC site is labyrinthine; advantage packs are under systems, but they won't modify them. Anyway wanted a 450 processor & got the bundle - Bh6/450 mh pentium; plus selected components - Matrox Millenium G 200 card, PC 100 128 memory (generic), case, modem, Cd rom drive, 10 gig hard drive..It came to a bit more than 1000, but not too bad :-) They put the components into the case for you & test it; it takes 2 weeks. The buy.com site has a good selection of monitors to look at. Better to enter Viewsonic than 21"; it shows more selection. I found both that you & Sean posted to me - ie new. Whew, expensive. $1099.95 for the P815-3, $1001.95 for the PT813, tho'I would guess those are good prices. Has anyone turned up available refurbs? D.A.
