Just about on topic for a change: Denstone to start phase 3 exploration at Huijiabao gold project Denstone Minerals Ltd DSL Shares issued 2,177,279 Jan 8 close $0.35 Fri 8 Jan 99 News Release Mr. Daniel Sung reports The company is conducting a limited phase three exploration program at its Huijiabao gold project in Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China. Work includes an exploration drill hole in the Sanchahe permit area and a soil geochemical survey covering a select 10 square kilometre portion of the Taipingdong permit area. The company's partner in the Huijiabao gold project is Team 105 of the Guizhou Bureau of Geology. Since 1995 Denstone has drilled 30 holes at Aishan, central to the Sanchahe permit area, and has defined extensive stacked beds of gold mineralization. Present drill indicated and inferred geologic resources are 3.74 milion tonnes at 10.55 grams per tonne (1.27 million ounces of gold). The weighted average thickness of individual bed intercepts is 2.6 metres. Denstone's Huijiabao gold project is in the Zhen Feng mining region where over five million ounces of gold have been discovered to date. The 4,500 square kilometre region is very similar to the prolific Carlin belt of Nevada, but remains virtually unexplored by modern methods.
