aurophile: got a nice crossing over of the slow stochastics on the monthly XAU chart for the month of Dec, 1998. at least i got my #8 in place...:))) ....haven't heard from Searle since the end of last year. been thinking that i might have to shake the tree in hopes that he'll show up..he could have gone on one of those religious "silent" retreats..just don't know...:)....p.s....that's the bigcharts.com chart technical site that i use for the xau with slow stochastics.

and further more: (to my prior post)...the crossing over of the "red and blue" stochastics lines on the monthly allowing me to mark the "last" monthly high on the "line" chart as #8 and permits me to say that the #9 wave (down) in now under way.....crossing overs on the slow stochastics on the monthly chart has been a strong signal of a change in the trend ...have mentioned in previous posts that i expect the xau and gold to bottom in mid-june of this year. XAU at about 23!!!!...:( all of this for what it is worth..(^.^)....then, of course, my call for xau at 23 might have been the factor that drove Searle to the "woods"...:)
