"Perfect World" for all nets this whole Month is my guess, Blue. And the Small Cap Nets will show their stuff as they move up a tier level to fill up the spaces vacated by Their Betters Moving Up. Am of the opinion many investors scared away in Aug, Sept, & start of Oct stayed out in Oct, Nov, & Dec. because their losses balanced nicely with big gains from early 98 to July by that third quarter. They would now be wishing they had held on to the bar, and now jump back in droves for '99 in fear there will not be another dip. Add this to Leading Analysts now advising that "Some Internets With Earnings Are OK" and the sales volumes and performance of Them Newfangled Internet Funds (I bought some Munder, racing it as a challenger, so far I hold The Lead)and what do you get? CA-CHING DOT COM! As prices rocket, the only way to continue the bandwagon will be More Shares. That means splits! Smaller Companies than the Funds will buy will want to get on that Upcoming Splits List too, as a way of self-promotion. And there will be buyouts and mergers and alliances announced. Then, after not too long, a selloff and a dip; I think some bad news or predicts will invade like last time, fabricated or true and exaggerated. Then the Fund Managers will be able to get more net shares for a better price, and the buying volumes will bring it back up fast. Once the Funds are into the nets, the rules change, and though Nets will still be the hottest sector, The Wild West Days will be over for The Bigs - and The Smallers & Smallest will merge and cull out at a faster pace. That's a Win/Win for us, as Internets With No Earnings will be touted as a risky no-no for individual investors by the Internet-Fund-Loving-Analysts; no problema. If The Elephant In The Room (sssshhh) is let go there could be true panic in some globals, for a bigger dip than a mere profit-taking selloff and more shares on the market from splits than before would do. This means, only two chances to grow shares and gather Y2K powder by sell/buy, sell/buy, in 1999. 1999 is the year to gather powder for Y2K. Next year at this time, We Riding On The One After 909ers will be wondering when we'll best profit from a buying frenzy, the likes of which will be legendary. Having plenty shares to sell, heap big powder to buy what's on the rise quickly, knowing the order of ranks as we do, knowing This One Will Start At The Top and work it's way Down, unlike the rally we see now, which started At The Bottom Tier, and if it gets to run it's natural course, Will Finish There.
Big Wild Prediction: "Tiptoe Through The Tulips" will be the theme for "Techstock Y2K", & Howard Stern will cover Tiny Tim's classic with his backup band, Infiniti Broadcasting Network DOTCOM. That's my "Perfect World" guess that started out there and ended up with my 1999 to early 2000 market prediction, sorry it's so long, but typing like lightning and thinking even faster is not always as much fun as some may think it would be, BelieveUMe.
