Interesting interpretation of the SI terms of use, which may apply in most circumstances. However, Anthony has chosen to reveal himself on numerous occasions through televised interviews about which he has advised SI members so they may view them (I have not seen any, so I don't know how Anthony is identified in these interviews). Anthony has provided his telephone and fax numbers on this thread. I've never seen an SI member who makes himself so publicly available. Anthony is practically a public figure, who makes no secret as to his identity, regardless of whether he has announced his past history with the NASD prior to Papillon's post. Once you announce your identity, it seems like publication of publicly-available information about you is fair game.

I'm not taking a position about the content of Papillon's post. I'm just pointing out that everyone seems to think he violated the law, SI terms of use, the Ten Commandments, the Koran, etc. and ought to be banned, flayed, boiled in oil, shot in the kneecaps, etc., and I think he was within the law and the SI terms of use given how public Anthony has made his identity on SI, and assuming Papillon obtained the information legally. Moreover, Anthony has come clean, explained it all, and nothing is secret, so the privacy issue and elimination of the offending post appears moot. In any event, life goes on, this thread will survive, and Anthony's detractors will come and go, just like Pink's and Auric's.
