Jake, you are doing a hell of a good job! I started out with picking from the top 35 picks of Valueline, reinforced by winners, sold my slower movers, and ended up in four stocks.
You are staying with your own "Mutual Fund", and getting ready to trade options, so you are conservative on end, and high risk on the other. I have not had the information or experience to do options yet. I never gamble very much when I make my "Vegas" runs, maybe that's why I haven't done options.

Jake, your strategy seems to be a sound one, since these index compilers have some good knowledge of tech companies. However, 29 stocks is a bit too much for me to keep up with. I like to stick with an O'Neil philosophy of 5-6 stocks.

I think SAP is a loser, for now anyway. I had it for a while, but sold a few months ago to free up more margin so I could increase my position in WCOM and my beloved MSFT. JMHO

(I know its wrong to fall in love with a stock, but how can I not when MSFT has already paid for my retirement? :)

Respectfully,

DK
