I assume you're talking about the scroll bars ("arrows")? At the bottom there's a window with a web page in it (the "Table of Contents"). Simply grab the middle bar seperating the two windows with your mouse and drag the bar down to expand the chat window.

Under options you can select to have the browser open in a seprate window also, thus giving more room...

Are you a subscriber there also?
