Hi Sharon -- here's a way to "hype-proof" yourself, a great article especially for a self-admitted newbie to investing. You seem pretty astute already, but what will turn you into more of a pro is the setting up of some kind of discipline with regards to buy/sell decisions and then sticking to it. I set a target for my DBCC shares and hit it on Friday. No regrets over the weekend, no second-guessing my sell decision. I'm already onto the next round of DD for another stock.
