Sure Dick is a businessman but he is also a humanitarian. Verbal recognition of the alliance of CCI/NMF would start the name recognition desired by the alliance. Many celebrities speak of their charities at functions. Planting the seed of recognition will not cause an avalanche of calls to CCI immediately, imo, but can cause performers to recognise the union and think of including it in their upcoming functions. By then the new site will be up and running. Mentioning the alliance will have, I think, a larger impact with the immediate audience of performers rather than the viewing public. What better way to get the point across to your piers than directly on the air.
