i read the other day that over next 30 yrs $10 trillion will pass thru estates from parents to baby boomers...not like we're not spoiled enuff already. anyway, that suggested to me that a lot of money goes from bank cds & tbills & such to stocks. liquidity, liquidity, liquidity.

one question to bring us to earth. at 2 days before intc announces, should i buy 500 shares at open on monday morning?

stock has run up, but: pe low relative to other blue chip techs, computer sales up 40%, intc recently announces "the march is on" to destroy competition for low end sub $1000 computers.

your thoughts, please.

Hi Berney ..

BTW have you noticed that the fed drained liquidity from the system?

Very rare event .. I believe that the last two times that they did that was July '98 and October '97.

Hi Berney

Looks like your post and my purchase was at the very top (S&P 500).

Hate it when that happens .. Which is why I only went in for the 50%.

Put in the order to go 100% cash today .. I just might get close price tomorrow.

Watched GZ get stopped out couple of times today .. interesting.
