LG, for me, logic has to give way to reason. I have what you might consider a paradox....but it exists - I have the same URL, bookmarked at different times on different machines that give me different connection results using the same telephone connection.

I'm not too surprised however. A couple of years ago when I first came to the States, I was consulting for a major bank here in SF and, for my sins, was responsible for driving the resolution of problems with a real flaky testbank/system. This involved chasing down and reconciling info from many different technicians. The reasons behind the problems sometimes made no logical sense to me (especially the design and architecture), so I now have more of an open mind as to what inter-effects the systems and connections have on each other.

More annoyingly, they had decided to use AOL for their online banking system connection ... and if only I'd listened to their tech guy when I questioned the languishing stock price .... I could have been retired by now !!. But of course, at the time, logic told me otherwise !!

Regards

Stephen
