RE: Yahoo! options

To all Yahoo stock holders: Have you seen the call premiums
on this stock? I'm not a big fan of the covered call strategy
because I generally believe if your bearish you should sell
outright instead of complicating matters with options. However,
with premiums like these, I'm tempted to sell covered calls on
my Yahoo! position rather than sell outright when I turn bearish.

cboe.pcquote.com

To wit:
APR 330 (.YHVDF&P) 72 3/4 bid 76 3/4 ask
That's 72 points downside protection on 100 shares! At that point
you can just cover the call and ride it back up, or sell another.

Easy to hold with a huge gain. Would you buy more now? I would never actually short any internet stock, as that is a sure path to financial ruin...I am looking for an entry to buy puts soon. Real soon...
Good Luck
