The First Big Player To Fumble ..

Let's say Microsoft says their Windows 95 isn't completely Y2K bug free (cash grab sure .. so what do all the W95 users do .. UPGRADE)
Microsoft by their very size & reach stand to gain big time with people worldwide upgrading all their products.

What if LINUX gets media attention as the completely bug free OS of the future & has the backing of SUN or IBM .. Microsoft could miss the Y2K boat, like it almost did on the internet.

No big player wants to default publicly on Y2K as their stock will bomb in 24 hours & likely never come back. IBM & SUN are in high regard now & could score a big one. Because they are well known, all the safe money will go there .. so where do all the little guys looking for the 10 & 50 baggers look .. you tell me!
