How many fingers am I holding up? -g- McCllelan Oscillator fans stand on your heads. Take the Oscillator chart turn it upside down and reflect it horizontally. If you familiar with the complex bottom and the buy spike formation in this indicator we have the same set-up on the sell side. Buy spikes in the Oscillator come in as a higher low (right shoulder) off the bottoming formation. You will also notice that bearish sentiment increases across the bottoming formation and hits in pinnacle at the bottom on the buy spike. The two recent buy spike bottoms were 6/15 and 10/8. Bearish sentiment was extreme during both periods and set bottoms. With .47 cboe put/call ratio and NUTZ mania we have the inverse of this on the sell spike. Also there has been note of mutual fund outflows lately. This doesn't make sense with the market rising. Think about this, disgruntled fund holders pissed off at the underperforming fund are opening etrade & schwab accounts droves so they can chase NUTZ stocks and buy in at the peak. Record trading volume reported in December by all the NutZ brokers.
