NOONE HAS EVALUATED THE SIGNIFICANCE OF CPQ'S 1/27 EARNINGS RELEASE DATE vs THE NORMAL MORNING AFTER INTC's RELEASE DUE 1/12 !!

The only explanations I can fathom are (1) CPQ earnings will be great and no longer (after 1+ yrs) has to bootstrap itself to INTC's normally good earnings - CPQ wants to stand by itself, and/or (2) CPQ wants a double stock-price (SP) rise by getting one because of INTC and another for its own earnings release, and/or (3) CPQ has something BIG planned for announcement in the 2 weeks between INTC and CPQ releases (and thereby cause a triple SP rise).

Any comments or thoughts ??

Whatever the reasons ... CPQ could approach 55 by month's end !

Michael

Hi Richie,

I have been using it for about two months now. GREAT machine. Top of the line with a DVD and all the bells and whistles...

If I had to choose again, I would probably go for the 7400 which is lighter, mainly because it does not have the integrated Power Supply.

I travel a lot for business doing presentations most of the time, so I needed a strong, fast machine.

Here are the features: compaq.com

(I have the luxury of choosing the machine without having to pay for it...<g>)
