Do you understand exactly why you are manifesting your anger and emotional excess pronichev?

I give people the benefit of the doubt until they demonstrate they no longer deserve it. You are following a familiar script. Is it the tension of investing sums of money in VLNC or is your outburst an independent flaw that resurfaces among a good deal of the people who represent they are long VLNC and post on this thread.

Try to stick to the issues. Showing more of yourself than just the issues is probably more than you ought to show. I absolutely don't want to know about your drinking bouts and problems. No one does.

On the issues: Who are the 5 majors? Who visited Ireland almost 6 weeks ago? Dawson's last crack at the helm ended in a crash and burn. This is his 2nd opportunity at the top. If he had any role in the selection of his successor and predecessor, Reed, by your account, then Dawson is 0 for 2 with VLNC. With the information that is available to shareholders, there is no reason to judge that he won't be 0 for 3.

Good companies don't require their shareholders to moonlight as private investigators.

Very good post, Pronichev!

These naysayers keep proposing various potential problem scenarios, about which very few real facts are publicly known, and conclude that chances for success are small or none. Apparently some believe that people like Dawson, Berg, Roberts, and Shugart are all blindly going along like a group of lemmings to the edge of the cliff where they will happily jump off together.

But as you said, Lev Dawson is not some small-time operator, and I'm quite sure he is pursuing a carefully laid-out plan which the board members are fully aware of and have signed off on. Nobody will lend millions to a corporation unless they've come to the same conclusion.

When one steps back and looks at the overall picture, it really amazes me that some hold the views we see them express on this board every day. Unless, of course, they have a specific agenda which is at cross purposes with the facts.
