It still would have been nice for the ACTV shareholders, if ACTV came out with their own press release about the Horse Racing channel, assuming of course that they are involved. "If it works, it could be one of the most lucrative TV channels ever," according to the Liberty article. They're not in Indonesia, but in NY. The stock has been trading for awhile now in a very tight range, which is good for consolidation, but news like this may have started us on a price breakout. Maybe they don't want the stock to move just yet? Maybe there's some unfinished deals? Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about? I admit that I am naive to many things behind the scenes, but I just hope the small investor, that's been holding for such a long time, sees the potential unfold that attracted him or her here in the first place.

If you want this message-board to draw and assure new investors (and I believe that it's important to do so with a small, speculative stock), more than wishful thinking, hope, and faith in, thus far, unproven management are required. Unsupported declarations about future performance are standard on stock message boards, just so much static to anyone with a modicum of investment sophistication. But company-specific, factual information is what's needed to present a compelling argument to either buy now or buy more. So far, I've gleaned enough information for IATV to be an interesting speculation based on an unfolding interactive TV story. But the compelling arguments for IATV as a company with a sound business plan and contracts that have the potential to produce strong earnings remain to be made. And it's these that will fuel the stock price beyond the general glow of the interactive TV story.
