Anyone remember when BNYN is comming out with their streetlight IPO?
I know I posted it here but at my age I go the bathroom and I forget why I went there.

Watch List for the week.
CHKPF
COGIF
ORVL
ATHM
XCIT
MTON

I still like MTON because it has made new highs on very high volume. There was an interesting article about OVRL in IBD Monday which discussed data storage companies and had a favorable slant towards OVRL. I think earnings are out on it soon so it may be worth a few points.

Last, I know that some of these picks are not in the theme of this thread (daytrading) but I figured what the heck, if I hang out here long enough I may be able to sound semi-intelligent someday.

What I am going for are picks for the week. I usually by 1000 shares total of all the picks and expect say 2-3 point increase average per share for the week. So, I would buy say 200 shares of each stock I mentioned above. My picks are based on unusually volume, new highs and recent news.
Your comments on this strategy would be greatly appreciated. I have been doing this for few weeks now and seems to work reasonable well. When I do have the lucky chance of spending all the day in front of the computer then I use Mach6 for some day trades.
