Dear Penni, there's no use holding back, tell us how you really feel about Barbie. :-)

It's amazing how girls so completely live in their Barbie world. Or maybe it's just my Katie. Sometimes I don't think she would even notice us missing for a few hours while she's in her make believe world. And yes, grammie got her the entire kitchen for Xmas!

Today I'm taking Ryan to the MONSTER truck rally in Seattle. Seeing those moster trucks crush a few puny cars is probably more up Rambi's style. :-)

I'll try and stop into the HUGE Barnes and Noble in Seattle to find your latest work of literary art. Did you try submitting the article about CW getting his business license? That ones a hit IMHO.

Michael

I hated dolls too, Penni. Creepy things. I think it's best to torture them before they torture you. That's how I see it. I sure wouldn't sleep in a room with any. Sitting on shelves ~ yah right. Looking at you. Sure they keep still - that's the way they are. Look at the eyes on those things sometime ~ evil little chips of victim bone.

You ever see like little naked dolls in the dump? Or missing their heads? Those people wised-up.

They're probably what's wrong with girls.

Stupid doll-clothes. And look at how their head looks after half of their hair pulls out ~ that's got to feel good.

I told MJ Sunday evening, "I don't think Stumpy is sure about Dash. He runs straight across the room for the stairs every time he comes in."

She says, "He's sure about him. He hates him."

Stumpy does NOT like to be "obstructed." When he comes in, which is about 15 to 25 times a day, he wants to do what HE wants to do. Like check his bowl, check the other cat's bowls, see if any of them are sleeping in any of his spots, sit next to them until they leave, smack them if they don't get the message to leave voluntarily, go find out if any others are in any other of his spots, zoom up the stairs and spend the day (well, an hour or two) sleeping on MJ's pillow, or just come in one door and meow at the other ~ he does NOT want to be snagged on the way by the couch and picked up and petted.

He glares, impolitely, when that happens. While he's getting what should be good nuggies his eyes are turning yellow and his tail starts to thump. Then he'll bang on the door to come in, the next time, but won't come in until you go out and get him, and promise that "that guy" is gone.

He's very.......sensitive. Like his Dad.

I would probably cut off her legs and get her a little tiny wheelchair.

Pardon me but...Amputated Barbie?

Well, perhaps you have stumbled onto something here penni. Word in the bowels of the Mattel empire is that Barbie was long in the tooth this Christmas season. Perhaps a new set of PC-conscious Barbies might be just the trick. Blind Barbie with Rex the Seeing Eye Dog...Alcoholic Barbie complete with little 12-step book in hand...Codependent Barbie...Bulemic Barbie...
