It's very likely that if you do a local business search using Yahoo's map function you won't get absolutely every business in every category in the area in question. The amount of databasing necessary to set up a resource of this kind must be staggering.

Nonetheless, it does exist, and it does work. The same cannot be said for WKWG. I doubt doubt the Yahoo map function is being augmented, improved, and upgraded constantly. An expensive business, and time-consuming. Yahoo has LOTS more money to spend on this stuff than WKWG does.

What I'm saying, obviously, is that Yahoo's way ahead of WKWG with this "geographical" stuff. And frankly I don't think that'll change anytime soon. I cite Yahoo as only one example of a "geographical search" feature that's already available; I'm sure there are quite a few others.
