Fascinating, the denial in the investment industry. No mention whatsoever in this BBC piece about Y2K. I realize that no one presently on a financial pedestal wants to precipitate a crash. But they act like the prospect doesn't even cross their radar screens. Y2K is conspicuous by its absence.

Like Clinton, "the prospect of resignation hasn't even crossed my mind." This is Denial. Because the investment world cannot all squeeze through the exits simultaneously? So no one respectable talks about it. Abby J. Cohen says to sell off 2% of equities. What kind of token asset reallocation model is that?

This sucker is going to hit the wall, and the Fed's airbags won't deploy!
