David, Roadrunner (jointly owned by TWX and UMG) and ATHM are the two primary cable modem internet providers, that i know of. ATHM has taken off, TWX is a huge company, UMG might well be the best play of the three. Also GIC and SFA are cable box manufacturers. My cable modem is made by Motorola, but GIC has gotten huge future contracts from TCOMA for cable top boxes. TCOMA has like a 40% ownership in ATHM, and with T buying TCOMA, look for ATHM to be a major player in T's internet strategy. (PS, I own all of the above mentioned companies). good luck. larry
