(Sigh) Okay, I'll try one more time.

What we have is a horserace. Intel's horse is out in front...no one disputes that. AMD's horse is gaining...no one can dispute that either (look at market share). Whether or not AMD's horse ultimately wins the race or doesn't have quite enough to catch ol' Inteller is somewhat irrelevant. We don't need AMD to actually win the race to collect at the ticket booth, all she has to do is at least place.

And right now, I like the way my horse is running and I very much like the odds.

Now do you get it? (I hope so...I'm running out of analogies!)
