Apratim,

I like the old "buy it & forget about it" strategy. Which i believe leaves out any option plays.

I would just go to Vegas and pick over or under instead.

Hi "Tim"

Thought I try that once (Tim :)

"that the future is no longer what it used to be in the past".

Love that line.

Here is one attributed to Yogi Berra: "If you don't know where you are going any road will get you there".

I've been on many roads some "less travelled" :)

RE: Options

What criteria do you look at when you decide if on its own merits (aside from the intent to cover in some fashion, your stock holdings)that option play is worth making?

I suppose if the question were to be asked of me the simple answer would be: The same factors that I would use to play a stock. Then the question I would have is: Do you find the buying price of an option is sometimes out of line when compared to the stock?

Thoughts anyone?

Regards,

QT
