Keep on bitching. It was you who suggested that. I forwarded your idea to Mr. Beckman and he replied that he would send to the AMD R&D.
You got to think and understand what you preach. All I have to say is GO AMD. Here goes the competition again. K6-2-450MHz will keep ASP up. Intel needs to pull in the Celeron 450MHz in February.

Only one question, pal: realive to what?

You must forgot that the percentage
is a relative increase. Clearly years of your
"happy" retirement show off in full scale.

The power of 0.25um K6 is pretty handlable,
as you should know. It is way below the
K6-233 at 3.3V, and the PC OEM industry did
handle that power pretty well, as you should
remember again by advances in AMD consumer
market share. Your 21% makes no difference.

BTW, your phrase "I hope the PC OEM's can handle
that excess heat generation" betrades you
completely about your intents on this thread.
