Huge gains for Schwab (SCH) and Knight (NITE) Cyberspace brokers are handling record trading volumes as investors flock to the Internet to buy and sell into the red-hot stock market. Online broker Schwab (SCH) for example registered a record 55 million hits on its Internet site last Thursday. Market making company Knight (NITE) will also greatly benefit from the increase in trading volume, an increase of more than 100% compared with last year. NITE is executing orders from online brokers such as EGRP and Ameritrade. I have invested my money in those two companies because I believe that there will be a great earnings surprise, once these companies report. Why Schwab? Because they are the leader in the online brokerage group and have real earnings and are cheaper valued than EGRP. SCH trades at 85 times earnings. Ariella, can you recommend a web site that teaches you how to read Level 2 for someone new to Level 2? I am not home to trade but i want to learn about it at some point soon to perhaps use in the future ... Thanks in advance, Mark
