Thanks, I have version 4.2.0021 of TC2000, and it says I can only export 255 stocks directly to Metastock. Since I want all the stocks in the system, this doesn't work. I tried all the different methods of export that have been talked about on SI and the best way seems to be the way the Equis customer support web page talks about. They say that the TC2000 4.2 version requires a conversion to version 3 which Metastock can read (make sure you turn on "traverse directories" in both the source and destination). The method works, I just wish Equis would directly import TC2000 4.2 data -- I could write this code if I knew the Metastock data format because TC2000 provides a way to read their 4.2 data using their software development library. It isn't a huge deal, but it would be an improvement to an already awesome program from my point of view.

Thanks,
