Jeff, Thanks! I realize that "everyone" loves MBTraders and all the other RT3 brokers that's why I went that way. But so far (and it's my fault for not spending the necessary TIME to study this) my RT3 is cumbersome and the charts are worthless LONG "straight horizontal lines" on my screen. All I have is the straight installation. The charts are the standard default. Whereas the SEOL standard default charts provide me with very, very meaningful information to me, I simply have not found the time during the productive trading hours to attempt to flounder around and guess what options, what colors, etc are need to be selected in RT3 to make it work for me. RT3 simply has TOO MUCH optional stuff and the DEFAULTS as delivered to me are not good at all. I need more hand-holding.. But with SEOL I needed nothing more than two 5 minute phone calls to get me going. I've tried the mIRC site and even with that, I get no useful information. One time it was "I don't know, will have to research that one" [they didn't for the rest of the day, that I could see] Another time it was "download and re-install everything". [thanks for nuttin'] And the other time it was in effect "that's just the way it is," live with it. (g) In addition, the data feed for RT3 is slower (it's delayed 30 to 90 seconds) than my SEOL, so I have even less incentive to learn the RT3 info. Additionally at least once a day RT3 losses the connection to my account, I get quotes, but my margin availability is reduced to zero. This means I need to REBOOT and start all over, a 5 to 10 minute process until I get everything up and running again. Another example: On Friday I was trading ONSL. RT3 was so far behind SEOL that the price quotes were A FULL DOLLOR off current levels! To get an execution I needed the SEOL price so I knew what to bid! I do hope to eventually learn the RT3 and maybe even some add-on like Tradewinds or that new stuff they e.mailed to me a few days ago... MORE options!!! ugg! I just wonder how did "everyone else" get to know and love it? Either they had to dedicate a month of full-time paper trading to learn the systems, OR they don't know what they are doing and they don't know any better??? How can I be "the only one" who can't use RT3 effectively??? If the answer is "take a few weeks off and struggle through it on your own and learn it" [which seems to be the answer] I just can not afford that amount for time. Colin
