Preopen limit orders can be usefull if you are firm in your decision to get in. I put a limit order in Friday preopen at limit 11 1/2 and did get a partial fill at 11 1/2. I canceled the balance when it appeared NAVR wasn't going down. Interestingly Yahoo shows Fridays low at 11 15/16. As I entered the order though Datek, I assume the fill was through instinet (it filled at 9:26 am).
01/08/1999 09:26:54 Bought 100 NAVR 11 1/2
01/08/1999 11:32:49 Bought 800 NAVR 12 1/4

I have watched this stock for several months. Your down side risk
is at about $10 - $11. I have loaded up ( 1300 shares ) friday.
I am looking for a spike up to $15 in the first 30 minutes. Probably will sell in the 15 - 17 range depending on the volume. Be patient
and you can pick it up in the 13 to 14 range. If I am lucky, I will
be in/out of this stock several time Monday...hopefully buy low and
sell high.

Good Luck.
