No Pete, that is incorrect. They were PennyStockPicks pick of the year. The same group who is now doing WKWG. Also, the CNBC spot is a paid promotional spot that is aired on Saturdays on CNBC. Here it is from WCTI's press release. WordCruncher Internet to Feature Search Engine at New York City Discovery Expo Oct. 20, Will Appear on CNBC Oct. 24 ALPINE, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OCT. 14, 1998--M. Daniel Lunt, President, WordCruncher Internet Technologies Inc. (OTC BB: WCTI) announced Wednesday that WCTI will be demonstrating a preliminary version of the WordCruncher Internet search engine at the Discovery Expo Fall Show on Oct. 20, 1998 at the New York City Hilton and Towers, Rhinelander Gallery. The demo can also be found on the WCTI website at wordcruncher.com . Lunt also announced that WCTI will be featured in a 1/2 hour segment of ''Investing in America'' which will be broadcast on CNBC on Oct. 24, 1998 at 2 p.m. ET. This segment will be shown in over 160 markets, giving WCTI an opportunity to begin telling their story to a larger audience. According to Lunt, this is the beginning of a program designed to increase the public's awareness of the WordCruncher search product, which is scheduled for commercial release in early 1999. Please take the time and view both sites.wordcruncher.com WCTI, does have their demo up on their site and as I stated earlier, yes it does have potential, but it is quite awkward and I don't notice anything extra ordinary about it. Check it out. WCTI, just hired a PR firm three days ago and they have nothing to do with the current volume in the stock. The volume can be attributed mainly to Columbia Financial Group, which I believe is a brokerage firm. WKWG has yet to even unveil their Demo, but if you view their new site which was updated this past week and if it is is any indication as to what their search engine is going to be like, then there is no doubt that even though WKWG is not getting the recognition today, it will only be a matter of time. WKWG and WCTI; only thing they have in common is that they are search engines and that is it. WKWG is going to be a specialized search engine that is targeting businesses for people like you and I to hopefully find easier. Do these people who are skeptical have a right to be skeptical. Yes, of course they do. In today's market we are all speculating and betting on our horse that is going to be faster and better than the next horse before it is even born. What seperates these horses; they have no track record. There are numerous investors in the investment community who are searching for the next great race horse, but they want to get in on the ground floor before the big run. Rumor had it that Amazon.com was going to be do a 3 for 1 split ever since it hit $100, but I didn't want to pay $100 for the stock because the company is in debt and see's no sign of being profitable for years to come. I sat and sat and sat on the fence wondering who and why, were, and is buying Amazon.com Yes, of course, it should be silly of me to compare Amazon.com to WKWG or evn WCTI, but that is not what I am comparing. The investor today I believe has the opportunity to take advantage of a stock that still has some tremendous upside as far as price is concerned. Yes, it is way too early to say WKWG is going to be profitable or even generate revenues comparable to the likes of Amazon.com. I have been Vegas and came back broke every time. I don't have a clue as to what WKWG is going to do tomorrow or the next day or the next day, but we as investors do have one thing on our side and that is investor sentiment and it is heavily waited in internet stocks these days.welcometosearch.com
