To anyone looking for information about ACTV, their plans, and their potential, I strongly recommend a careful, thorough reading of the investment opinion published in December by Bridge Technology Group. It provides a compelling, and most important, INDEPENDENT, rationale for investing in ACTV. I know it was posted here when it came out, but visit bridgenyc.com, download it and take the time to read every word of it. It made things very clear for me and quelled any major concerns I had about ACTV's future. This is a company that has done a magnificent job of aligning itself with THE MAJOR players in digital TV and technology -- John Malone's Liberty Media, TCI, General Instrument, Sarnoff and established an unmatched sports programming partner in FOX Sports Net (22 regional networks nationwide and Keith Olbermann just joined their national news show). They continue to strike key alliances -- TCI Music's The Box Music Network, Prevue, SkyConnect (for advertising). It's internet business just added what appears to be a major hitter in Ziskind and is expanding beyond education into ebusiness, ecommerce and corporate training. 1999 has just begun and it looks like the year that convergence will become reality, and ACTV has done a great job positioning itself for this. It is natural to be concerned, we all want things to happen faster than they typically do, but relax, take a deep breath and enjoy what we all hope lies ahead in the New Year.

<<I don't think it matters to this particular stock what is said here.
To a potential investor it might, but not the stock.>>

I used to think that, Art, but I've changed my mind after four years or so of assessing message-board information. It wouldn't surprise me if there were eight to ten lurkers for each poster. Further, individuals make recommendations to other individuals who are neither posters nor lurkers. Many speculative stocks have soared because of message-board information (and non-information), so I've now concluded that the stock price of many a speculative small cap is more influenced by individual investors and traders than by institutions, which are bound by issues of liquidity. And these individuals are increasingly consulting message boards for affirmation and information. And while we can't know for sure in the case of IATV, we're all better of, I think, if we assume price influence.
