ELWOOD: I have been watching the Schwab earnings calendar for about 3 weeks looking for cpq date. Nothing until today. It shows before the bell on Wed. the 27th.

Personally, I like the idea of having intc, gtw, iom, msft, mspr, exit, yahoo, sgi, lu, rmbs(look for split), and several others reporting in advance of cpq(ride their coattails and then pop em).

Wouldn't this date give dividend reinvestment money a chance to work a little also?

I have been searching high and low for the alien firms that have all of the next breakthroughs. Now that is an investment!
